This is the public blog for the EPSRC Ideas Factory “Software Control of Matter”, directed by Richard Jones. An Ideas Factory is a week long residential workshop in which scientists are brought together to find innovative new approaches to solving a difficult scientific or technological challenge. The challenge for this ideas factory is the Software control of matter, as described here. The aim of this blog is to give readers the chance to learn about the process as it happens and to provide their own input.
